Second Saturday Concert October 8th

It’s time again for our Second Saturday Concert. The month we have Darrell Effinger opening at 7pm. Darrell is a retired school teacher whose passion is folk music and has performed professionally, singing with Peter Yarrow of (Peter, Paul & Marie) at festivals and became a member of The New Christy Minstrels.
The Speedsters will take the stage at about 8pm. The Speedsters offer a wonderful selection of rock, oldies and country and we are happy to have them back. Their doo wop tunes really set them apart. This will be a premium dance night for couples, twisters and rockers.
The concert goes till around 10pm. The Shingle Springs Community Center snack bar will be open with optional snack bar tables if folks want to bring something to share. We ask for $10 dollars at the door and guests can bring their own refreshments (B.Y.O.B.). All proceeds support the Shingle Springs Community Center and events.
