A staple in our area, the Shingle Springs Community Center has hosted meetings, showers, reunions, luncheons, dinners, and community services for over 70 years. Our beautiful athletic field and premier horseshoe pavilion have been used for tournaments, and casual competitions, plus soccer & rugby practice, family picnics, dog shows, relays and more. Our footprint of 2 acres of the country charm is an affordable family resource.
Our Gathering Hall is 2,262 Sq. Ft. with a max capacity of 325 people (max seated 154).
All set-up, take-down, and clean-up is the renter’s responsibility and the allotted time for these must be within your rented hours.
Hall and/or Commercial Kitchen Rentals require a $500.00 security/cleaning deposit. When rented independently from the Gathering Hall, Outdoor Areas require a $50.00 security/cleaning deposit per area.
We require a certificate of insurance for general liability in the amount of $1,000,000.00 with Shingle Springs Community Center endorsed as an additional insured. If you will be serving alcohol at the event you are required to have host liquor liability as part of the coverage.
An all-day rental period is 10 am – 10 pm. Event must end at 10pm, and cleanup must be complete, with the center locked by midnight.
Walkthroughs are usually done the morning after the event, and time will depend on the facility schedule. We recommend our renters be present during the walkthrough so anything requiring additional cleaning can be taken care of at that time to avoid loss of cleaning deposit.
