GIVING TUESDAY!
Shingle Springs Community Center has been offering events, throughout the year, bringing neighbors together since 1951. Our Center prides itself on finding ways to help strengthen our community and support other nonprofits and youth groups. We provide a local gathering place, family friendly events, and volunteer opportunities for our community members, improving overall health and happiness, and in turn lessening the burden on social services. Tuesday December 3rd is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving — and together we can do even more. Help us to continue our mission, bringing community together one member at a time. Funding our capital improvement projects will help us better serve our community by updating our bathrooms and installing a new ADA ramp.

* Become a member! We offer family and business memberships.
* Sponsor an Event.
* Volunteer! We have an opportunity for everyone.
– Volunteer your professional services.
– Ask your employer if they offer Volunteer grants (donations made to the community on your behalf based on the hours you volunteer).
– Serve your community as one of our board members; engage with other community members and help us shine.
– We are currently looking for a community event planner, treasurer, and general contractor.
