Sharing our Easter Spirit

Posted By on March 18, 2012

Hey, all of you fellow members of the Shingle Springs Community Center, We need your help!

This year, rather than an Easter egg hunt (everybody has one) we hope to provide the makings for an Easter dinner for five needy families. I am chairman of this event so I am appealing to YOU to help us collect non-perishable food items: canned goods, cereals, cake & frosting mixes, soups, jams or jellies, muffin and or biscuit & bread mixes, powdered milk, coffee, canned or bottled juices, potatoes, Jell-O products, gravies, peanut butter and so forth. Use your imagination.  This list is just to give you some ideas.

Please start donating today!   Our collection point is at 4372 South Shingle Road.  There are boxes on the front porch to receive the items or call me at 677-3142 and I will pick them up if need be.

Deadline for these items is Friday, March 30th – Thank you very much for your time and donations.
